Confection aficionados, pastry patrons and dessert devotees rejoice for an exclusive pastry pop-up hosted by the new Warehouse District restaurant Compère Lapin! The one and only Josh Gripper, pastry chef of Andrew Carmellini’s The Dutch Miami Beach, will visit New Orleans to share his sweet skills on Wednesday, September 16th.

“Josh is one of the best in the business and I am a huge fan of his work,” says chef/owner Nina Compton. “His desserts are simple and artful but, most importantly, utterly delicious. We’re thrilled to have him here, even if it’s just for a day.”

At Tout La, Compère Lapin’s coffee and pastry bar, Gripper will be offering dazzling delights like his signature Key Lime coffee cake, carrot cake with cream cheese glaze, passion fruit donuts and more. At the Compère Lapin, Gripper will feature his Salted Key Lime Pie with fresh passion fruit and coconut sorbet and Cuban Flan with macerated strawberries, pink peppercorn brittle and sour orange sorbet.
